Hey guys, just wanted to give a heads up that right now Kodansha is offering a pretty amazing Humble Bundle of fantasy manga. Titles include Land of the LustrousFire ForceNoragamiMushishi and a number of others–most of them pretty major titles. Even better, each title includes multiple volumes of the manga–up to the first 15 volumes, for Pumpkin Scissors! This is definitely a great chance to try some new manga titles, one I’m certainly taking advantage of myself. If you’re interested, you can find out more here.

Deal Alert: Tales of Horror Humble Bundle

Looking for some spooky reads as Halloween approaches? Well Humble Bundle has you covered with their Tales of Horror bundle. This bundle features a variety of creepy tales ranging from manga to novels (authors I don’t know but who will be fun to try) to a number of short story collections (featuring several well-known authors who know well how to craft the perfect eerie atmosphere).  As I said, I’m not familiar with all the authors, but this looks like a solid collection with a good bit of variety to suit different tastes in horror. If you’re interested, you can find out more here.

Right now, they’re offering a selection of over 20 graphic novels from Titan, mostly featuring 9, 10, 11, and 12–we actually get the first several volumes of each of these sets. But there are also some other doctors featured, including a Humble Exclusive featuring the First Doctor. It looks like a well-rounded and enjoyable selection for anyone who like Doctor Who and would like to give the graphic novels a try. You can find out more here.

EXPIRED | Deal Alert: Torchwood & Doctor Who Audiobook Humble Bundle

Calling all Whovians! Right now, Humble Bundle is offering a collection of Torchwood and Doctor Who audiobooks/audio dramas which looks pretty fantastic. The Doctor Who ones include four collections of shorts as well as two full-length stories. Torchwood is all full stories–eight of them! Additionally, there are two interviews, including one with Tom Baker. I’m not sure about the Doctor Who ones, but the Torchwood stories at least appear to be full audio dramas, which I’m very excited about. Because this cast does a great job in this medium (see my review of Torchwood: The Lost Files). Plus, it looks like these are all new stories, not ones included in The Lost Files. So yeah, I’m excited for this bundle if only for that.

EXPIRED | Deal Alert: Pawsitively Clawsome Humble Bundle

Yeah, so new offering from Humble Bundle that feels like Chat Noir must have named it himself, right? That definitely made me laugh. But for as silly and punny as this cat-themed bundle may look at first glance, it actually has some pretty cute stuff in it. Yes, there’s your requisite internet cats, cat-care, cooking and crafting with cats, etc. sort of stuff that’s kind of meh. At least to me; if you enjoy that, please knock yourself out. But mixed in with that stuff, this bundle offers a really cute selection of cat-themed manga and comics that are definitely worth getting the whole set. You’ve got 2-3 volumes each of Chi’s Sweet HomeFuku Fuku, and Nekogahara. There’s also some Grumpy Cat and Simon’s Cat stuff, as well as some other interesting-looking comics that I’m not as familiar with. In addition, there are also some picture books and a couple novels. So yeah, definitely a theme-specific bundle, but there’s some good stuff there. You can find out more here.

Incidentally, Humble Bundle is also offering a selection of D&D comics that could be fun. Plus, they’re having a Square Enix sale, including stuff like Tomb Raider and Final Fantasy.
