Oddly Enough

Author: Bruce Coville

A boy who carries an unopened box with him his entire life–a box given him by an angel. A girl who wages war against a brownie over the tidiness (or lack thereof) of her room. A young man who listens as his waning grandmother tells of a time in her youth when she saw the fair folk, the elves . . . and was even able to lend them aid!

Enjoy all of these stories and several other wonderful fantasy short stories in Bruce Coville’s excellent collection, Oddly Enough. As always, Coville’s quirky, honest style shines through in the array of unique characters, unusual settings, and surprise endings. Mixed throughout the collection are equal parts horror and fantasy, yielding a delicious, slightly chilling flavor. Oddly Enough is a memorable volume that comes with high recommendations.
